Registration/Communication Update (Gino and Mike T)

• 13 Registrations to date
• Coaches will be asked to email team members to encourage sign up (Mike T)
• Winter workouts weekly communication sent each Wednesday/Thursday to all families (Mike T)
• Ordering 10 signs for tryouts for 10-12’s  (Rob R)

 

Uniform Update (Jenny H)

• 2 jerseys – one as “Park” (with two button) and one as “Orioles” (with full button), both with American flag
• Same hats as last year, numbers will be added to the hats after (Toby)
• Going with grey pants (basic)
• Pants, belt, socks (black and orange) caps, spirit wear can be ordered via online store
• Coaches will get a jersey and caps – 4 sets per team
• Sizing can happen at our Jan 29th Winter Workouts and before

 

Slugfest Report and Discussion (Todd D & Rob R)

• Registration update - discussed teams that have signed up so far (Todd and Mark)
• The following tournaments are MBT qualifiers:  10AAA, 11AA, 12AAA, 13AAA, 13A, 14/15A. 
• Looking for age coordinators for 13A, 13AAA, 14/15A and 14AAA
• Update on 14AA tournament Spring Preview for Gopher State…. Opportunity for 15AA to volunteer

 

Coach’s discussion for teams 13A, 13AAA, 14/14A, 14AAA, 15AA, 15AAA (Greg)

• 14/15A update  - looking for a coach
• Nothing to report on 13A position (please continue to reach out to coaching network)

 

Tryout Plan  (Dan H)

• We will have non parents doing the evaluations
• Tryout plan formulated by next board meeting 1/31
• Make a Google Doc for players to sign up for tryouts (Mike) and post to site (Gino)

 

Player update on 13A team (Greg)

• Email to all LL players sent on 12/28 to all players not currently on a roster

Umpire Update (Joel A)

• Looking to handle umpires similar to last year
• Joel has communicated BT umpires and local umpires from last year to gage interest

 

Financial Update (Mark Y)

• Hockey board request follow up.   Jenny, Mark and Greg will be attending meeting.
