• How best to handle 10-12 year olds following team selection?  Timeline for this?
• Jenny proposed that the SLPTBA provide:
  • 2 shirts (dry fit, could be different colors, numbers on back, DK logo – no names) and cap (number on cap)
  • Online store for parents to order pants, belt , spirit wear
• Note:  Parents get pants on their own (we will provide guidelines – color/stripe no stripe)
• Next Steps:  Jenny going to pursue designs!

Slugfest Report and Discussion (Todd D & Rob R)

• Bids we applied for and received
• What to do with bids we didn’t receive (no MBT for 11AAA and 14AAA) – Pursue GST and MSF for 11AAA and 14AAA
• Start looking at Age Coordinators for 13A, 13AAA, 14/15A and 14AAA

• Need coaches at 13A and 14/15A
• How to recruit new coaches?  Contact SLP Hockey Board?  SLP Teachers?  Gym Teacher?

Tryout Discussion, voting and website update review for 10-12 age group (Dan H)

• Dan Hower in charge of tryouts for 10-12 year olds
• Age/Grade discussion – do we want players to declare prior to tryouts or do we see where needs are at each level?
• Evaluators/tryout lead coaches (must be non parent of that age group)
• Coach selection after tryouts
• Discussed if we could/should ask LL coaches for feedback on players (not their own children) - TBD
• Update on LL involvement with tryouts

Player update on 13A team (Greg)

• Will start to make phone calls/ emails after Holidays (need 6+ players to fill roster)

• Need to sign up for tourneys by January 1st, 2016
