Financial Update - tabled

Operations Update
Registration (Greg) –  Just a few outstanding payments.  

Coaches (Greg/Erik) – 13AA coaching status reviewed.  Greg and Erik are meeting with the 13AA coaches this week.
Two new coaches have been added to 14/15A team.  Seventeen traveling coaches attended the March 13th coaches meeting along with varsity coaches Kelly and Bissonnette.  Practice plans, Codes of Conduct and Trusted Coaches requirements were reviewed at the coaches meeting, and all coaches were registered on the MBL site with Gino’s help.

Trusted Coaches (Joel) — Most of the coaches have completed the process.  The five who still need to complete the Trusted Coaches certification process have been sent reminders.

Uniforms (Kara) – Uniforms and hats are ready and will be distributed to coaches on Tuesday, April 4.

Spirit Wear (Greg) - Orders closed on April 1st.

Schedule (Erik) – The mandatory MBL coaches meeting is April 8th. All teams have assigned coaches to attend.  After games are scheduled, Erik will coordinate scheduling of practice times to be allocated among the teams.

Slugfest (Greg/Erik) – Brackets are ready.  Dan and Erik will work to plug in teams into the brackets.

Volunteers (Kim) – Kim and Julie are working on the Field and Tournament Directors for Slugfest and plan to finalize this week.
Sign Up Genius to go out April 10 for the May 6-7 MYAS Spring Invitational.  Sign Up Genius to go out April 23 for Slugfest.
Todd Dvorak will lead a Slugfest tournament directors meeting on April 29.  Kim is preparing a reminder on the volunteer requirement which Gino will send out.

Website / Communications (Greg) – Gino will post the volunteer reminder Kim is drafting.  Greg will distribute the Sports Clips coupons to the players on each team during a practice or parent meeting.  We want to remind all teams regarding the HS game at US Bank Stadium Tuesday, April 18th at 6:45 p.m.

Concessions (Greg) – Mark will be coordinating a clean-up day.  The Board is receiving a donation of Byerly’s coupons from a parent of a player.  Carlson and Keller each have grills.

Umpires (Joel) -  Area 728 Officials is confirmed for Slugfest.  On-call back up umpire coverage for each Slugfest weekend is confirmed.

Equipment (Brian) – Brian has all the equipment ready to be distributed Tuesday, April 4 (balls, score books, heavy balls, first aid kits).  Brian has researched pricing and will work to secure 2 replacement nets for L-screens and portable nets working with Mark to stay within budget.

Player Update (Greg) – Greg provided a 13-year old roster update.  Erik has flagged the dates on the scheduling calendar where there could be conflict between High School players on traveling teams.

Player Development (Greg) - Jeb presented the Player Development Plan at the coaches meeting and to Little League.
