Traveling Baseball Board Meeting

Uniforms

Cap

• Going with 3 color cap (same as SLP HS design)
• $17.99 with raised logo – preferred (Universal)

• Option for getting number embroidered on back of hat - Toby

Jersey, Undershirt and Pants - $110  (Educational Outfitters)

Jersey

• Same jersey as last year, but in black, with Orioles in cursive, numbers on front and back, DK in the back, with Oriole on sleeve

Pants

• Same as last year

Undershirt

• Same as last year (names and numbers on sleeves)

Need to get an email out to tell parents when to bring players to Educational Outfitters to get fitted – Rob will tell Jenny the dates.  (Sometime next week)

Coaches need to get fitted for a cap (free for three coaches per team)

Parent - Coaches meeting – Coaches to initiate

• After Spring Break
• Greg to send a message to coaches with guidelines/expectations
• Options for renting indoor batting cages
• Coaches to initiate meetings

Equipment

• First Aid Kits – Rob E purchasing needed first aid kits
• Rob E has done audit and knows equipment items to purchase

Winter Training

• New dates:  March 21st & 28th at the Middle School

Coaches meetings

• MBT Scheduling Meeting - April 11th – East View
• Coaches meetings – April 21, 22, 23 (attendance at one)

Rec Baseball

• Letter/email needs to go out by the weekend. 

Umpires

• Currently soliciting umpire availability for Slugfest Tournament

Slugfest

• Determining open roster spots across all age groups
• Todd calling teams where needed
• Concessions – Alan Brown will run it (Mike to confirm)
• Trophies – Trophies for 1st & 2nd, medals for 3rd
  • Want to offer a different kind of trophy
• Looking into getting banners and brackets printed up
• Greg to get a letter to coaches to secure a tournament director per age level
  • Mike Thyne – 10’s
  • Bob Riley – 13’s
  • Beth Collins – 14’s
